Car and Ramp Experiment 1. Turn on the CPO Timer with the switch on the left.
2. Hold the car at the very top of the ramp.
3. Set the green light on the CPO Timer to "Interval"
4. Press the red "Reset" button.
5. Let the car go!!!
6. Write down the time it took for the car to go through the top gate(A) by lighting only the A button. Record this as "Time A"
7. Write down the time it took for the car to go through the lower gate(B) by lighting only the B button. Record this as "Time B"
8. Now write down the time it took for the car to get from gate(A) to Gate(B) by lighting both the A and B buttons. Record this as "Time AB"

So, the speed at gate(A) is equal to (insert picture here) The speed at gate (B) is equal to (insert picture here)
So the acceleration of the car is equal to (insert picture here)
9. Plug in the values you calculated to find the acceleration of the car. 10. Turn off CPO Timer when you are done
