Rollercoaster Experiment
1. Turn on CPO Timer with the switch on the left.
2. Place the photo-gate clamp somewhere on the roller coaster by loosening and tightening the silver knob.
3. Set the green light on the CPO Timer to "Interval"
4. Press the red "Reset" button.
5. Release the marble from the top of the rollercoaster.
6. Measure the marble's diameter to get "Distance"
7. Write down the time it took for the marble to pass through the gate by lighting the A button. Record this as "Time".

8. Calculate the speed of the marble using the above equation. 9. Place the photo-gate in different places on the rollercoaster and repeat Steps 2-8 to find different speeds.
10. Turn off the CPO Timer when you are done.
