Physics Professor and KITP member Boris Shraiman, Susan F. Gurley Chair in Theoretical Physics and Biology, has been elected to the National Academy of Sciences. Election to the NAS is one of the highest honors that can be accorded a U.S. scientist and is a recognition of distinguished and continuing achievements in original research.
