LECTURE MATERIAL:
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Our mandatory observing session will take
place tonight at 8pm on the roof of Broida Hall. If you enter the stairwell on the south side of the
building, 7 flights of stairs will bring you to the roof. Bring a flashlight if you have one and
warm clothes because we will be up there a couple hours.
Assignment 9 will NOT be due! We suggest you treat it as a real
assignment, but without the pressure of turning it in. Please consult the solutions
afterwards.
Homework 8 has been posted. So have the solutions to homework 7.
Keep and eye on the website because we will have our
observing session very soon.
Solutions to Assignment 6 have been posted. Assignment 7 is posted and will be due
Friday, Nov. 13.
Wednesday, Nov. 11 is a holiday and neither class nor
discussion sections will take place.
If you have a Wednesday section, youÕre welcome to attend any of the
other sections. If you canÕt make
it, come to office hours for help.
Many students have been unable to find their returned
assignments. Please check in the
boxes above and below your name, as well as in the box corresponding to your
first name in case it was put there.
After doing that, email the TAs and weÕll let you know if it was
processed and give you your score.
Your midterms scores were returned in class on Friday,
Nov. 6. If you didnÕt pick up your
score sheet, see Professor Antonucci after class on Monday or in his office
during office hours. The average
score on the exam was 21/29 (one question was removed due to poor wording).
In order to clean up a little, we have posted all the
old announcements here.
