I always used to call this the Genie lift, but if you call it that the people at Food&Housing will have no idea what you are talking about. This device is a much nicer alternative to the 20 foot ladder, which is in terrible disrepair. (By the way if you are looking for the ladder anyway, you will find it on the outside of the commons on the ledge that the main walkway from the library comes towards the commons, you can get there via the 9th entrance fire escape). The Hi-lift can be borrowed from F&H if you ask nicely enough, and you will be glad you did since it will make your life much easier. You can use it as a huge forklift to levitate the power boxes and coffins into the bars which is much easier than lugging them up a ladder.
