2 A little about me

Since I'm writing this I get to tell you who I am, since there is no telling whether not you know of my existence. For the past four years the Baker Lighting system has been my baby; you probably could have already guessed that since you are reading this now. I followed from a long line of talented Baker Lighting people who preceded me and I want to acknowledge the great help of Don Russell who ran the system in the early to mid-eighties, and who was one of the major forces in the renovation of the original wooden coffin (be glad you don't know what that is).

My major contribution was the four mini-coffins which you will grow to hate and love. As Baker Treasurer, Baker Theater Chair, Producer of ``All's Well That Ends Well'', Baker SMR, and lighting whiz, I held a unique combination of positions and interests that allowed me to direct a substantial sum of money towards the modernization of the Baker lighting system, but you need only reap the benefits.

Nowadays I can be found slaving away as a graduate student in Physics at the University of California at Santa Barbara. I'll probably be here until at least the year 2000, so if you read this before then and have questions, or just want to say ``hi'', please write me at chris@physics.ucsb.edu
