Now we zip straight to the end of the whole thing. The show is all over and before you let anyone go off to any sort of cast/crew party you get to have set strike. This is relatively obviously the reverse of set up except you have many more people helping and it gets all down in one night rather than weeks. The primary concern you should have is watching over all of the lighting stuff so that it doesn't get destroyed by people who have absolutely no idea what they are doing. Most people will be very helpful, but you need to be around so that people know what things can be left attached, like the two-fers in the back of the mini-coffins and the main power cables, etc. Make sure things are put back in salt proof areas so that rusting doesn't occur and try to keep things relatively organized so that it isn't an absolute nightmare for the person who follows you the next year. Better yet if you are not planning on doing this the next year you should be in the process of trying to get an apprentice even before the show starts so that they can learn all the ropes while you are still around.
