Title: Revisiting ADE Minimal Strings

Abstract: Minimal strings form a family of simple string theories with matrix-integral duals. The most-studied A-series minimal strings, which are obtained by coupling A-series minimal models to Liouville theory, are dual to solvable one- or two-matrix integrals. In this talk, I will discuss minimal strings whose matter CFTs are D- and E-series minimal models. The D-series minimal string has been conjectured to be dual to an unsolvable four-matrix integral. We study the amplitudes of these string theories and provide evidence supporting a four-matrix dual. I will also present some preliminary results on bootstrapping the corresponding unsolvable matrix integrals. This talk is based on work with Victor Rodriguez and Mykhaylo Usatyuk.
