Title: Dimensional Reduction in Parisi-Sourlas Supersymmetry
Abstract:
Historically, Parisi-Sourlas supersymmetry was introduced to describe the IR behavior of random-field models in statistical physics. Recently, however, it has shown potential for broader applications in various areas of theoretical physics, including CFT, QFT, and theories of gravity. The interesting property that makes this possible is known as “dimensional reduction.” In my talk, I will explain how this property works and show that it can also be understood within a Q-cohomological framework, as well as through supersymmetric localization. This perspective offers a natural bridge to the language commonly used in standard supersymmetry in high-energy physics and opens up further possibilities for the application of dimensional reduction.
