Title: Wave functions in Lorentzian AdS and the flat space limit
Abstract: I will describe how to construct the complete set of (spinning) wave functions for fields in AdS by using the embedding space formalism and ideas from representation theory of the conformal group. I will then describe technical aspects of the flat space limit and its relation to the Inonu Wigner contraction of the conformal group. I will also show why the limit is very subtle for particles that become massless in the limit. Some aspects of how the S-matrix of flat space is related to dual CFT observables will also be discussed.
