Andrew Allison

I received my B.S. in Physics here at UCSB. I spent much of my time during my undergrad with Gaucho Racing, our Formula Student team, serving as lead machinist and welder. I’m excited to stay at UCSB and support research on campus by training and assisting students in the machine shop.

Beyond the shop, I work with Professor Dirk Bouwmeester’s group, contributing to cryogenic experiments and related systems, and I also design and fabricate systems to investigate brain organoids in collaboration with the Neuroscience Research Institute.
