Chiara Grieco received her BA/MA from University of Napoli "Federico II" in Italy, working with MicroMegas gas detector for the Muon Spectrometer of the ATLAS experiment at CERN. In 2017, she won a two-months fellowship to stay at FermiLab in Chicago two months, working on the straw tubes of the Mu2e tracker detector.
Before moving to UCSB in 2022, she got her PhD from Autonomous University of Barcelona, working on the HGTD timing detector for the upgrade of the ATLAS experiment for HL-LHC at CERN. During her research, she studied the performance of LGAD silicon sensors with different doping element and different wafers technologies.
Once she moved to UCSB, she joined the CMS Collaboration at CERN to work on the HGCal detector for the Phase II upgrade of the CMS experiment.
