I study exoplanets, brown dwarfs, and the stellar systems they reside in using some of the most powerful observatories, such as JWST, Keck, Gaia, and the VLT. My research combines large atmospheric surveys with studies of planetary architectures and demographics to understand how giant planets form and evolve across all spatial scales. I also seek to understand how our own solar system fits within the broader diversity of exoplanet systems. In the long term, the techniques I develop for studying gas giant worlds today will ultimately make it possible to characterize habitable worlds with future observatories.
