Juan Gaitan

Juan Felipe Gaitan is an experimental physicist at the Institute for Terahertz Science and Technology. Prior to UCSB, Juan completed his BS in Applied Physics with a minor in Quantum Technology at NYU. He worked in nonlinear Terahertz with the Katsumi lab, ultrafast optics with Steven Cundiff and quantum information theory with Rupak Chatterjee. At UCSB, he is working on probing various condensed matter systems via investigating their non-equilibrium phenomena.
