Rocio Kiman

Dr. Kiman did her undergraduate studies at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina working on particle physics. She then did her PH.D at the City University of New York with Prof. Jacqueline Faherty and Prof. Kelle Cruz studying M dwarf ages. She then did a short one-year postdoc at the KITP with Prof. Lars Bildsten and Prof. Timothy Brandt working on stellar radius estimations, and a three year postdoc at Caltech with Prof. Gregg Hallinan and Prof. Charles Beichman, working on brown dwarf atmospheres with JWST. Currently she is a postdoc at UCSB working with Prof. Brendan Bowler on atmosphere characterization and formation of giant planet analogs.
