I’m a soft-condensed matter graduate student researcher in the Marchetti Group. I’m working to understand the rheological response of biological tissues to external forces on cellular and tissue scales. I’m also interested in studying how the interplay of cellular alignment, biochemical gradients, and mechanical forces can influence cell collectives. I like to read and write fiction in my spare time and haunt museums and theatres on weekends. My scientific interests lie at the intersection of physics and biology at tissue, cell, and sub-cellular scales. I am enraptured by bacteria and always up for learning about their latest shenanigans!
